Approximately 60 music stations plus some news, family, etc., ones. I bought it through Amazon during a trip to LA, and activate the radio there.
I was not able to continue listening the public radio in Mexico City. All the stations are a commercial space, and I thought sattelite radio was my option.
I spend 2-3 hours in the traffic, daily. And I am happy on my decision.
Although I live in Mexico City, I ran the risk to go for an XM radio. I choose Terk XM due to the good comments in the few reviews.
Surpsisingly, after being professionally installed, I am now listening a different radio on my go. Reception is practically crystal clear, and I spend the journey 'happilly different'.
This radio is pretty good. I have a specially modified vehicle because I'm in a wheelchair so it took a while longer to install probably about 2 1/2 hours but it wasn't difficult to actually do it, it was just difficult because of the way the radio was positioned for the vehicle in its housing. If you have basic electronic knowledge you should be able to hook this up without a problem. I have a infinity sound system in my car and the only reason I didn't give it a five star rating is sometimes the sound is a little chintzy, the reception is excellent and I have had very few problems, I am constantly surrounded by mountains where I live and I only had one problem for a short time.I would definitely recommend this product
It goes in easy and looks nice. This is a nice unit. The best thing about it is that I have one subscription for my car and the house. I had a problem getting it to scan for channels after activation but that was my fault. The directions could be a bit better.
Excellent XM Radio. The Commander MT enables you to install XM in your vehicle and still achieve a factory look. Very easy to install - it comes with everything except wire connectors. This is an excellent addition to my vehicle.
